While there is no denying that a vast number of people are curious with regards to having had a past lifes, the number of people who are interested purely for the sake of being able to improve their current life, is dramatically less. Of course, some people still continue to question the possibility of having had past lives even though it is so widely accepted by almost all religions.

Past Life Regression is appealing to many people because they like the idea of learning who they were and what happened in their past lives. They do not realize that they can use this knowledge to change their present and future lives for the better.

Scientists of today are beginning to see that there are benefits to past life regression therapy. Studies have shown that people can make big changes in their life for the better once they have dealt with horrible things that happened to them in a past life.

Whether you decide on hypnosis sessions from a PLR expert or whether you opt for the self hypnosis method, it is always recommended that you set time aside to prepare your subconscious mind as well. Of course, the best way for you to teach your subconscious to accept these memories of past lives, is by including affirmation sessions.

Now, before you take the plunge, you really do need to be willing to accept some facts.

Never doubt that your previous life has a part in your current one. The things that happened before exist in memories that are in your unconscious and need a bit of prodding to come to the top.

Just the knowledge of your past life will not help you have a better life. You must know how to put this information to use in order to benefit from it in your daily life.

Just as one can learn from mistakes you make in this life, so you can also learn from mistakes made in a past life.

Unfortunately, a vast number of people simply refuse to acknowledge the possibility of past lives or reincarnation. This is regrettable because drawing from past life experiences can provide you with the knowledge to avoid major pitfalls in this life. This can still be the case even if you remain skeptical and blame your imagination for the memories which come to mind.

Whether you are a believer or not experts still say that you can benefit from past life regression therapy for a couple of reasons.

*If what you learn from remembering your past life helps you to have a better life, this is because what you remembered was from a past life.

*You may believe that everything you remember is an active imagination, and that is okay. You can still experience a release that frees your mind; this could allow the creative process to flow and lead to health and success.

Please see below for the five fundamental benefits of Past Life Regression.

*Past life, traumas can wreck pain and destruction in your present life, this will heal that.

*It promotes a clearer understanding of our current situation and allows us to remain focused in our daily lives.

*If you know what mistakes you made before and remember them you can avoid these mistakes. If you were dishonest in the past and bad results from it then you will realize that you will suffer bad results in the present if you continue to behave this way.

*Somewhere, locked inside ones subconscious, there are gifts or special talents which you learnt in a past life and in all probability, you may very well be able to use these in this life and if so, then PLR will make this possible.

*Many questions we have regarding ourselves are answered and may well explain why we are the way we are in this life.

Whether one believes in Past Life Regression or not, the fact remains that you have nothing to lose by giving it a try. Lets face it, anything which promises to improve the quality of ones life, is certainly worth trying.

Experiences With Past Life Regression

To learn about your past lives you will need to go to a hypnosis that specializes in Past Life Regression. You can also do it with self-hypnosis. There are other things that are useful as well. For example, regular affirmation sessions ensure it is acceptable to your subconscious mind to remember the events of your past lives.

Before beginning a past life regression session it is imperative that you are certain and believe certain things.

The life youre living now is connected to your past life or lives and memories from those past lives still dwell within your subconscious. You only require a little help in order to recall them.

Your knowledge of a past life experience will not help you much. You must take that information and use it in a practical manner in order to have positive results in this life.

You will need to learn from the mistakes you made in your previous life and refrain from making them again. This is how you will use the knowledge of your past life to live a better life in the present.

For those who do not believe in reincarnation Past Life Regression can still help them have a better life. Even if they believe their memories of the past are only imaginary, they can still apply it to better their lives and avoid mistakes in what they do day by day. It is a great tool for people who wish to change their lives and have greater success.

Irrespective of what your own personal opinion is, most PLR experts will still recommend that you take part in Past Life Regression for two fundamental reasons.

*If you go through PLR and you benefit from anything you learnt and applied to this life, then that which you learnt was indeed from a past life experience.

*You may believe that everything you remember is an active imagination, and that is okay. You can still experience a release that frees your mind; this could allow the creative process to flow and lead to health and success.

Exactly what are all the benefits to a past life regression session?

*The trauma of the past life has a negative effect on our present life. Remembering it helps us to heal and live a more positive life.

*You will be able to think and make decisions more clearly.

*PLR effectively helps one to avoid the repetition of mistakes made in ones past life.

*It can bring to mind special talents or skills you have forgotten. You certainly had skills in that life that have been buried in your subconscious. Bringing them out could change your life.

*When you understand the life, you lived before it will shed some light on your current state of being. Why you are, the way you are is a question many of us face and never find the answer to.

Past life regression, therapy is a good thing no matter if you believe in it or not. If you would like to truly change your life it is certainly worth a shot, dont you think?

Informative Facts About the Swine Flu Vaccine

The Influenza A (H1N1) virus, dubbed the “swine flu” by the international media, has caused a major stir ever since it was identified on April 2009. Those who were identified as high risk groups most likely to contract the virus are the ones with pre-existing medical conditions, adults over 65 years old, pregnant women, and children below five years old. The main symptoms of the swine flu—coughing, headache, fever, chills, and runny nose—are similar to those of the common flu. However, when deaths were reported, these prompted the world to track its progress. Similar with any other influenza virus, anyone can contract the swine flu through coughing, sneezing, and coming in contact with a contaminated surface and then touching the nose or mouth.

That this new strain of virus can easily be passed on from one person to another has caused global panic, especially in the early days of its evolution. Earlier this year, the whole world watched as cases of swine flu infections rose by the thousands and seem to have reached all corners of the world. Two months after its discovery, it was officially declared a flu pandemic by the World Health Organization on the 11th of June, 2009, adding fuel to the global media frenzy that has evolved from this curious virus. A day after this declaration, known Swiss company, Novartis AG, announced that it has produced the first batch of swine flu vaccine at its Marburg, Germany plant. On September 15th of this year, the US food and Drug Administration approved the vaccine, essentially lending credence to this new product.

Since it came out, thousands have lined up to have their shot. Is this a good medical decision on the part of the government? Let’s take a look at some of the related facts:

Point 1. At present, the largely untested swine flu vaccines are being prepared for mass inoculations across the US and Europe. In fact, the European Medicines Agency has allowed pharmaceutical companies to skip the testing process altogether. However, some allege that production was “rushed” and it was never tested on humans.

Point 2. The swine flu vaccine contains dangerous adjuvants that could lead to inflammatory response, leading to autism and other neurological disorders. Growing evidence all point to the fact that, indeed, adjuvants are being added to stretch production.

Point 3. Public support for the swine flu vaccine has significantly decreased since news that it was unsafe cropped up in the media. Leading the campaign against the use of the vaccine are some nurses and other health practitioners from the US and the UK who have all voiced their strong opinion against it. In addition, a recent study conducted indicates that over fifty percent of mothers refuse to have their kids vaccinated.

Especially now that the swine flu scare seem to have died down, more and more people have begun to realize that this vaccine may not actually be safe in view of the fact that it has yet to undergo stringent tests, which is an important process for it to be fully fit for human use. As with any important medical decision, one has to be fully armed with the right set of information to make the decision an informed one. The same is true in this case.

Evaluating the Risks of Gastric Bypass

In a world that places great importance on appearance and aesthetic appeal, the procedure called gastric bypass surgery, previously viewed as being highly risky, has emerged as one of the most sought after procedures for those who have tried all means to lose weight and are still left as highly obese individuals. Nonetheless, this is also an important procedure recommended for purely medical reasons, especially for those whose added weight place greater risks when combined with other existing medical conditions.

What is gastric bypass surgery?

This is essentially a procedure which makes the stomach smaller and allows food to bypass a section of the small intestine. The result is that the individual will feel fuller with less amount of food intake. Bypassing a section of the small intestine also means that the body will absorb less calories that, when added up, could lead to excessive weight gain. In addition, As such, this procedure has come to be viewed as a means with which to drastically reduce weight and keep it away.

Who are the ideal candidates for gastric bypass surgery?

This type of surgery is recommended for highly obese individuals who are prone to uncontrollable weight gain. If they have exhausted all possible means to lose weight but have yet to achieve positive results, then a gastric bypass surgery could be a last resort for them. We all know that obesity is not just a problem related to how a person looks from the outside, it is also a disease affecting the person’s body from the inside. Obesity also affects their mobility, their lifestyle, and capacity to lead full lives. Therefore, apart from giving these people a legitimate chance to have a better and healthier life, they also stand to benefit from this surgery because it can also help cure a number of obesity-related diseases or what are known as “co-morbidities.”

What are the risk factors involved in undergoing this procedure?

Prior to undergoing this type of surgery, one has to be aware of the risk factors involved. Essentially, the hard fact is that 10 out of 1000 people die after undergoing gastric bypass surgery. Second, around 15% of patients require additional surgery to rectify problems associated with their first one, this of course leads to prolonged recovery time and added costs.

Apart from the above, other risk factors include the tendency to develop gallstones. Primarily, this is due to rapid weight loss following a gastric bypass surgery. As such, added medications or treatments may be required to prevent these. Next, this surgery may lead to serious nutritional deficiencies that may manifest in the form of osteoporosis, metabolic bone disorders, and anemia. In fact, a recent study has shown that over 30% of patients develop such diseases post-surgery. Again, these could be alleviated with the help of treatment and the expert advice of a licensed nutritionist.

If you or someone you know needs to lose weight in a drastic manner after resorting to practically all means but fail to achieve results, then consider arming yourself with the right information to help you arrive at the right decision.

Understanding Proper Surgical Wound Care

There are various types of surgical procedures. Of these, the more common are appendectomy, cesarean section, episiotomy, hysterectomy, and laparoscopy. In the area of plastic surgeries, breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, and liposuction are three of the most popular procedures today. During a surgery, the surgeon basically makes an incision on the area and after performing the necessary procedure, closes it off using various methods. The varying ways with which doctors close a surgical wound will now serve as the most important consideration in proper wound management.

Different Types of Wound Closures

With advancements in this area of medical practice, various technologies have been applied in closing off surgical wounds. In the old days, only sutures were used for this purpose, nowadays, doctors have also begun using clips, staples, and skin glue. Some of these may be used to close off the muscle tissues and the rest used to close off the skin layer. Depending on the wound, a doctor may also prefer using a combination of these. In case a doctor used staples or sutures, removing them should be painless, depending on the proper wound care you have performed.

Proper Wound Care

Post-operation, the wound will be covered by bandage to alleviate pressure and protect it from contaminants that could infect the wound. The surgical dressing is normally removed after the first day. Having a nurse or doctor remove the surgical dressing after the first day and checking if the wound looks like how it should is an important step in ensuring proper healing. This is also why it is important that the wound be kept clean and dry for the first 72 to 96 hours.

Afterwards, daily cleaning and bandage replacement must be performed as required. When doing so, one’s hands must always be washed with soap and water. The dressing must also be clean and contaminant-free—you want to keep the wound clean and not introduce things that could cause an infection. Depending on the wound closure, the doctor may also advice that daily bandage replacement be foregone as long as the area has been checked. In cases when the doctor used dissolvable sutures, ideally, these should gradually disappear from one to three weeks and minimal management could be performed in such a case. As for non-dissolvable stitches, these should be removed by the GP.

Problems and Other Concerns

The major problem associated with improper sound care is infection. Some of the tell-tale signs of infection include excessive pain in the affected area, blood or pus discharge, unpleasant odor, and swelling and extreme redness. If these are observed, contact your GP immediately and schedule an appointment. If a patient has diabetes, know that it could also effect the healing period he or she must undergo.

Another problem, although a minor one, is itching. In such cases the wound must not be scratched at all costs. If the itch proves to be too be unbearable, a doctor can prescribe a topical cream to alleviate the discomfort.

Understanding proper wound care is certainly the best way to ensure that any surgical wound heals well and on time.
